Feeding

Seminole Feed® Equalizer is a pelleted protein, mineral and vitamin concentrate for mixing with other quality ingredients to provide a nutritionally balanced ration for foals, weanlings, yearlings, broodmares, stallions and performance horses. Seminole Equalizer is a scientifically formulated to help prevent nutrition-related developmental problems of foals and to provide an optimum nutrient density for horses’ reproductive, growth and performance requirements. Feed Seminole Equalizer according to the Daily Feeding Guide divided into two or more equal daily feedings. Provide clean fresh water at all times. After observing or weighing the horse for a period of time, increase or decrease the daily quantity of oats (and/or beet pulp) to obtain the desired body condition or body weight. Make all feed changes gradually, over a 7 - 10 day period. Changes in feeding rate should not exceed 1 pound per day for an individual horse. Provide a free-choice mineral supplement on a continuous basis that is made for horses, such as Seminole Grass Balancer 16:8 Horse Mineral. Equalizer weighs approximately 1.7 lb. per dry U.S. quart.
